Dutchman Clarence Seedorf is expected to lead Corinthians on Wednesday (4) against São Paulo, even though Conmebol denied validation of his coaching license in Brazil, according to Folha. The match, in round 34 of the Brasileirão, will be at 9:30 p.m. at Vila Belmiro, because Morumbi will be occupied by BTS concerts.

The CBF said he is working on a provisional license, which remains valid until Conmebol rules. Corinthians sent documents from the Dutch Federation to prove the required experience and asked for reconsideration. The papers will be validated by Uefa before going back to Conmebol.

The refusal came because Seedorf does not meet the 36-month minimum as a coach. With the Uefa Pro license, he has about 27 months of work, in spells at Milan, Shenzhen, Deportivo La Coruña and the Cameroon national team.

The club argues that the three years he served on the Dutch federation's supervisory board and his work as an instructor in Uefa coaching courses should also count.

With the provisional license, Seedorf has already been on the touchline twice, including the defeat to Vasco, at São Januário, on October 24.
